Enter the Network Registration System . Faculty, Staff, and Students. Faculty, Staff, and Students may view their registrations, add and remove devices as well and sponsor guests for access. To register a device on the network, guests must have a PIN which may be obtained from the IT staff of the department you are visiting.
New and unknown computing devices connecting to the Internet from IT-maintained network jacks must be associated with a valid NetID and registered with UMass Amherst IT. Network registration establishes a responsible party for devices on the campus network and helps UMass Amherst IT support members of the campus community. Make sure your computer is virus-free. Restart your devices to complete the registration process. Remove registrations for devices you no longer use or plan to sell.
